Dr. Imran Ibrahim is the Medical Director of Intervention Pain Clinic, overseeing clinical operations across both locations. His career spans more than four decades of medical practice across multiple specialties, culminating in over 13 years of dedicated interventional pain medicine — a discipline in which he has become one of the most credentialed practitioners in Canada.
Dr. Ibrahim's clinical foundation is exceptionally broad. He trained and practiced in orthopedic surgery for 6 years and general surgery for 2 years before transitioning to emergency medicine, where he served for 10 years at the front lines of acute care. He subsequently built a 5-year family medicine practice before committing fully to interventional pain medicine. In parallel, he has maintained a 5-year aesthetic medicine practice, reflecting his commitment to patient wellbeing across the full spectrum of care.
In interventional pain medicine, Dr. Ibrahim holds an unmatched credential portfolio. He is a Fellow and Certified Interventional Pain Specialist (FIPP & CIPS) of the World Institute of Pain — among the most rigorous international designations in the field. He holds Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Spine Procedures from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons (USA), Board Certification in Pain Management from the American Academy of Procedural Medicine, and the Diplomat designation from the American Academy of Pain Management (DAAPM).
