About Dr. Yaseen
Dr. Muhammad Yaseen is an Interventional Pain Physician and FRCPC Anesthesiologist who joined Intervention Pain Clinic's Cambridge location in October 2026. He brings a rigorous academic and clinical foundation to every patient encounter, shaped by his training at one of Canada's most respected academic medical centres.
Dr. Yaseen completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Toronto from 2006 to 2011, earning his FRCPC designation in 2012. This foundational training gave him deep expertise in pain physiology, procedural safety, and the advanced nerve block and regional techniques that directly inform his interventional pain practice today.
Since August 2013, Dr. Yaseen has served as an Anesthesiologist at Woodstock Hospital in Woodstock, Ontario, where he continues to provide comprehensive perioperative care. His dual practice in both anesthesiology and interventional pain management gives him a uniquely broad perspective on patient outcomes and complex pain conditions.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Yaseen served as a Clinical Associate in Anesthesiology at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto from 2012 to 2013, and as a Medical Officer in the Department of Anesthesiology and ICU at Services Hospital in Lahore, Pakistan. This international experience enriches his clinical approach and his ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Yaseen is committed to evidence-based, patient-centred care. He works collaboratively with referring physicians and the broader care team at Intervention Pain Clinic to ensure each patient receives a thorough assessment and a targeted, individualized treatment plan.
